Clean power top make us energy independent

Here’s my Op Ed in today’s Daily Express – all about Energy Independence, a different way to look at fighting the Climate Crisis.

This version is just missing a few Brexit references, probably due to lack of space..

The £1 billion per week for example I like to describe as ‘three times the sum on the side of Johnson’s Brexit bus – but real’.

And our plight in international energy markets, which are openly manipulated by cartels – where we are ‘price takers not price makers’.

Other than that, this is pretty much as I wrote it.

I do think it’s important to communicate in different ways – we need to reach people with what’s important to them – not us..
