Britain’s Verdict: Millions Demand Palestine Recognition and Israeli Sanctions

The British public have spoken, and they want recognition of Palestine and trade sanctions against Israel.

They see Israel’s acts clearly for what they are - breaches of international law. There’s no equivocation in the answers given - margins of support for Palestine and condemnation of Israel are typically 2 or 3 to one.

We asked all the big questions, and without exception the public stands with Palestine and wants the government to do more. And the percentage of the public that support this is far greater than the percentage that voted Labour in the last election.

It’s clear that Labour are out of touch with the public on this issue and by a long way. Our poll shows Keir Starmer has an absolute mandate from the public to recognise Palestine and sanction Israel. Fear of what Trump might think or do may be holding the government back.

This poll shows that Starmer should worry less about Trump and more about what the British public thinks - lest this becomes his Iraq war.
